Belly Dancing for FitnessThis program — which is suitable for all body types, both sexes and all ages — will make you sweat. Belly dancing offers serious cardio and full-body toning targeting the upper arms, the core abdominal muscles, the hips and the thighs. Other benefits include weight loss, increased flexibility, improved posture and less stress. The beginning class will teach you the basics and will include high-energy original dance routines. The intermediate/advanced class will take you to the next level with even more challenging dance techniques. This class will also include instruction for finger cymbals and veils (students must provide their own). No prior dance training is necessary. Please wear any comfortable workout attire. Ages: 14 & Older
5K Training ProgramDo you want to run a 5K, but you don't have enough courage or you don't know where or how to start training? This two-day per week class will get you ready for all of the fall 5K runs. Gain the endurance and the courage to finish the race. Other benefits include increased muscle tone and better cardiovascular health. Ages: 16 & Older
