OPEN GYM
The Addison Park District Open Gym basketball program is open to Addison residents of all ages.

Open Gym hours are featured at both Centennial Rec Center and Army Trail School gymnasium, however AT's gym is available for those in 8th grade or younger on Saturdays only.

Open Gym is for Addison residents only, specifically those persons residing within the Addison Park District boundaries, School District #4 and Addison Trail High School students with student identification. Students of District 15 may also be admitted provided they are Addison Park District residents. Open Gym participants must bring proof of residency, such as a student ID or state issued ID card, as well as their own basketball. No one will be admitted without proof of residency.
Fees: $2.50 (8th grade and younger at AT's gym only),
       $3 (high school & older),
       $4 (8th grade & younger on extended days & weekends)
       $5 (high school & older on extended days & weekends)

Centennial Rec Center

The Centennial Rec Center is a handicap accessible facility which is host to many recreational programs and activities at the Addison Park District. Our 10,000 square foot gymnasium features a wood floor with a full-size regulation basketball court; as well as two smaller courts. Basket heights can be adjusted from 6' up to 10' in height for regulation play. On the second level of the gym, you'll find our 1/13 of a mile indoor track. Now you can walk or run year 'round regardless of the weather outside. In addition to offering exercisers a controlled temperature environment, this state-of-the art track provides a quality textured, shock-absorbing surface. Open daily (see hours below), this running/walking track is free to Addison residents.

Multi-Purpose Rec Room For other programs or events, the Centennial Rec Center also features several multi-purpose rooms - ranging in size from 600 to 2,800 square feet in size. Some rooms are also equpped with sinks. Centennial also boasts a large, 1,850 square foot, wood-floored dance room complete with ballet bars and mirrored walls; as well as an 860 square foot preschool room with sinks and washroom facilities for children in the room.
