Improve your stamina and prepare for swim teams in these swim and stroke clinics. Each week participants will focus on different competitive strokes including; starts and turns. Drills will be incorporated to refine the mechanics of the strokes as well as endurance and speed. Note: These clinics are not designed to teach strokes but rather to help the swimmer become more proficient. Two days per week recommended.

A kid friendly approach to teaching basic lifesaving techniques. Participants will learn the importance of calling 911 and the basic steps to CPR.

Learn lifeguarding rescues, CPR, first aid, supplemental oxygen support and AED implementation. This program promotes important safety skills, work experience, teamwork and leadership skills. Upon successfully completing all required elements of the course students will be certified to lifeguard facilities. All books and supplies are provided. Competion of the course is not guaranteed nor does it guarantee employment with the Addison Park District. Class meets 2 days per week.
